Nearing the entrance to
Tiger Leaping Gorge tourist area. |
Kelly and Emily just inside
the entrance. They blasted a 10 foot wide "path" into
the side of the gorge. There really would be no other way to
get to this side of the gorge. The canyon walls are shear. |
Kelly and Emily walking along the
"path". See, we have our hiking boots on!
Hey!!
Come on Emily...
I just want to take your picture... |
In some places they blasted
tunnels into the walls of the gorge. This one tunnel was
perhaps 100 meters long. That's our guide Annie with Kelly and
Emily. |
Here's Kelly pretending to
save Emily from going over the side! |
See that big rock in the
middle of the picture? That's the one that
the tiger used to jump across the Yangzi....or so the legend says.
Annie and Emily. |
That's the big "jumping
rock" up close. Can you spot Kelly and Emily? |
A rare shot of Scott.
He prefers to stay behind the camera! |
