A Typical Yunnan Town
After visiting Tiger Leaping Gorge, on the way back to Lijiang, we stopped at a  little town for a bit to eat.  This town was built on a hill along the main road.  After lunch we went for a walk up the hill and into the town.
This little town is situated on a hill next to the main road.  We had a late lunch at a restaurant along the main road, then went for a walk through the town.
A interesting looking truck comes up a narrow side road.
Kelly and Emily walking by some shops.  This on apparently selling furniture.
This is street runs along the town at the top of the hill.
Looking out from the road.
A little alley off the road at the top of the hill.
Heading back down the hill along a walk.  They are building a new house here.
Looking back at the walk we had just come down.
Back down at the bottom of the hill.  This town has a little suspension bridge that they let you walk across for 5 RMB.  It's a little tourist attraction.
Here Emily is trying a little basket made by the woman behind her.
She wants Kelly to buy a straw hat.
Here's a couple of pictures of that woman making a hat, I think.
Emily shops!
This is the old bridge crossing.
A look up at the construction of the gate.
Look at that detail!  It's amazing!
See!  This is why I don't get in front of the camera very much.
Back down on the main road.  Interesting vehicle, hugh.
