We
arrived early...
Oh
look, we've beat the rush and will be able to easily find a good
place to sit. |
Ummmm...
Oh
yeah, I see a good seat right over there. |
No
that spots no good, there aren't four seats together. Keep
looking...

Looking across Victoria harbor
to Hong Kong. We are in Kowloon here.
By the way, if you hadn't
guessed, there were no seats. No problem, we joined other
people sitting on news paper spread out on the side walk. |

Unhappy Girl
"I don't like this place, it's noisy, and stinky, and
boring" |
Hey the show is starting.
Actually this was towards the end. |
Ohhhhh.. Ahhhhh....
Click click click..
There must be something like
one hundred thousand photos of every second of the display.
This picture really does not begin to show the magnitude of this phenomena.
There was just this sea of hands sticking up in the air, and this
sea of little illuminated LCD screens. |
Show's over....
OK..
Everybody..
Time to go! |
Once we were able to find a
little space we pulled over and waited until the crowd thinned. |
Just an interesting site we
saw on the way back to our hotel.
Emily and Blythe on the Star
ferry. Our hotel was on Hong Kong island so we used the Star
ferry to get back. It's more fun than the subway. |
Getting off the ferry with all
the other happy, festive people. It was a really fun evening. |
