| This is the Kashgar animal market. It's been happening here in Kashgar for something like 2000 years! Nowadays it happens every Sunday. People come from the outlying areas to Kashgar to… well… buy or sell animals. It is a real market and not put on for the benefit of tourists, in fact, the local people really did not give us a second look, they were too busy doing business.
