| A Kashgar street corner. Donkey carts are a very common form of transportation among the Uyghur (wee-gur) people. Uyghurs are the majority people of Kashgar and make up %70 of the population. They do not look at all Asian, have their own language, and use the Arabic writing system. They are better able to speak with people from Pakistan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan.
